Managed the Operations to produce reacted resins and catalyst for the metal casting consumables industry in a union environment with production > 100 million lbs/yr. Implemented improvements to right size the facility process improvements, cost reductions, inventory efficiency, and customer order patterns.

Travelled globally to 10 manufacturing sites on a regular basis to create 5 year operational plans by facility to benchmark efficiencies and maintain global manufacturing metrics. Participated in Ashland's first Chinese blending facility including the economic justification, raw material selections, operational design and project timeline. Led the plant start-up during the first 30 days.

Responsible for the day to day process engineer and quality activities in the 7 ady a week 24 operation facility, in addition coordinated new production activities supporting R&D, scale-up, and product management.Supported plant efforts for compliance in process safety, ISO 9000, and QS 9000 while using the quality plus system for problem solving and developing corrective actions to non-conformances.Improved the cost position by reducing the number of Out of Conformance Reports by 40% per month.Completed an upgrade of the distributive control system including programming, electrical verification, and configuration on the old and new systems running key equipment without impacting the customer requirements.
