I wish that the "pronouns" field were a little more forgiving. I have a gender-neutral name, so I'm very comfortable with responding to any pronouns that are used with respect. :) Seriously, no joke. I default to she/her in English, ella in Spanish, and sie in German. But well-intentioned variants are always okay. Having been one of few female geeks in most of my previous roles, I'm cool with phrases like, "Dude, 'sup?" and "Hey, man, have you seen this?" being gender-neutral in intent. In fact, the thing that may make me cringe a bit is when someone tries to adapt "Dude" to "Dudette". I won't judge, but I might cringe.2021 - Currently enjoying remote work and school, living behind the closed-down West Seattle Bridge. Most recent IT training in Agile and Scrum Frameworks, with "The Agile MBA" bootcamp and "Lucid Agile", and in "Inclusive Leadership" via Coursera. Most recent technology roles included two rewarding contract gigs supporting a variety of systems for Microsoft labs. Very rewarding work, with great teams. 2019 - completed a 2 year AAS degree, full-time re-training to refresh and upgrade Network Administration and Cybersecurity skills. Prior to re-training, recent technology gigs included an upgrade project at Swedish Medical Centers, and two back-to-back temporary positions at the City of Seattle, in Tech Support for Seattle Public Utilities. An awesome experience with a great team and wonderful customers. I highly recommend the IT division at Seattle Public Utilities for any of my Information Technology friends. Most recent acting projects include staged and table readings of new scripts, ongoing training and screenwriting projects. Less recent projects include singing in church choir, collaborating with musician friends and assisting neighborhood organizations with community outreach for crime prevention and disaster preparedness.Ongoing projects include continual training in new technologies such as Powershell scripting, Microsoft System Center Operations Manager, Windows Server, System Center Virtual Machine Manager, Active Directory, SQL Management Studio, Visual Studio and other standard and custom technology products.
