In 2021, she received an Innovation Award from the Fair Education Alliance, enabling her to launch the organisation and work full-time in the UK and serve schools, corporations, and community organisations. She is dedicated to promoting family history research and educating communities about their untold histories, especially to benefit Black and Brown people who have been marginalised from historical narratives.
