Developed strategic programs and collaborative events to serve opinion leaders and emerging companies in the fields of life sciences, biotechnology and health care. As VP of Community Engagement, my role was to foster uncommon connections that brought value by way of innovative health care and environmental solutions.Key initiatives I led include: Women's Leadership Roundtable for Life Science & Health Care Professionals, Small Business Leaders' Forum (medtech and biotech entrepreneur business council), Diabetes Leadership Roundtable, Midwest Personalized Health Framework and the annual Minnesota Bioscience Summit. My programs served to not only connect leaders but to change the tone of the dialogue and/or create a birthing ground for new companies, industry clusters and ideas. I am best known for my networking skills, creativity and resourcefulness, a keen sense of observation, a commitment to identifying and drawing new partners together, adaptability to innovative business development approaches, a strong service orientation and a passion for the objectives of both my team and our clients.LifeScience Alley (now Medical Alley) - based in Minneapolis, Minnesota - is one of the nation's largest life science industry associations, serving such notable member organizations as 3M, American Medical Systems, Boston Scientific, Cargill, Mayo Clinic, Medtronic, St. Jude Medical, the University of Minnesota along with hundreds of start-ups in the medtech, biotech, pharmaceutical, health care and renewable materials industries.
