As part of my M.Sc. in Computational Biology and Computer Sciences, I work as a data scientist on the subject of Alzheimer's disease. Main responsibilities:- Wide-ranging statistical analysis, mining, and visualization of multiple biological databases using Python (SciPy.stats, Statsmodels, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Seaborn, NumPy, Pandas, Deseq, etc.).- Predictive classification of RNA-Seq profiles to Alzheimer’s patients and controls.- Research of molecular neuroscience advised by world-renowned professors Hermona Soreq and Yonatan Loewenstein.- Development of internal data scraping automation tools using multiprocessing and Selenium with Python.
