After taking a break in my professional career, I was given an opportunity in a financial role in which I had limited experience. As I was faced with the challenge of learning a new job and dealing with the everchanging technology, it made me realize the importance of being a “lifelong learner.” The pursuit of knowledge can enhance our understanding of the world around us, provide us with new opportunities and help us achieve goals. By being willing to learn and adapt, I was able to expand my knowledge and skills, which improved my ability to see and understand the overall organizational goals.Managers have noted my reliability, flexibility and positive attitude on my performance reviews. I have strong organizational skills, excellent time management, and solid communication skills. I am detail-driven which helps me understand the causes instead of just the effects. I pride myself of completing all tasks accurately and on time.I have lead and organized many activities and truly enjoy seeing it all come together. Whether it was a school carnival or a new data collection process that over 40 plants needed to adopt, I focused on the specific goal, came up with a plan, executed and reviewed the results. Often unforeseen problems arise, but quick thinking has always helped me come up with a solution. I enjoy working as a team and seeing my knowledge and skills make a difference.
