Designed a capital-efficient, high-margin business model that requires nearly zero inventory.Chief Product Officer - Created and owned the entire product strategy, roadmap, and execution. Managed engineering team through execution against product roadmap. Owner of all user experience and user interface aspects of the product, managing both in-house and offshore teams.Chief Operating Officer - Oversaw day-to-day business operations, including printing production, shipping and logistics, sourcing of packaging materials, hiring, and customer support. Owned the live and pre-recorded classroom experiences for all CreativeLive students. Revamped the live classroom to create a seamless viewing experience: media sharing and gallery functionality, instructor questions, live and asynchronous viewing.Extensively employed user feedback, A/B testing, wireframe, and roadmap management tools in an Agile process to manage feature ideation, specification, and development cycles.

PacBio RS Awards: 2011 Good Design Award, a 2012 iF Product Design Award, and a Silver EID Award.Responsible for all aspects of instrument and service product management for the PacBio RS DNA sequencing system, including assessing and prioritizing customer and market requirements, authoring Product Requirement Documents, and managing successful product launches.Delivered product requirements with associated prioritization, metrics, and supporting analysis. Managed the priorities of engineering and validation teams throughout the development process.Business lead for Limited Pre-Release of PacBio RS sequencing instrument (Summer/Fall 2010). Determined feature release priority and upgrade roadmap. Regular travel to and communication with customer sites to gather feedback.Co-lead for development of content supporting full commercial launch of the PacBio RS at the American Society of Human Genetics conference (November 2010). Managed vendor development of interactive product demos and PacBio’s first booth presence.Presented with CEO to unveil company’s first product at the Advances in Genome Biology and Technology conference.

Led all sales operations activities for the 130-person Xolair sales force. Performed target customer identification, segmentation, and sales force sizing analyses to optimize resource allocation and support Xolair’s strategic objectives. Introduced SpotFire analytics software to Xolair sales force, resulting in ability to drive actionable physician-level analysis down to the territory level. Designed, communicated, and administered incentive compensation plans and sales contests.

Includes responsibility for all Xolair sales forecasts, life cycle management valuations, promotional effectiveness, and ROI assessments.Developed ASIX, a customer-based analysis package with integrated business planning capabilities for the Xolair sales force.Devised Xolair’s first methodology to compute patient share and quantify the patient opportunity within various targeted physician segments. Designed Xolair’s chart audit process to regularly capture patient treatment data.

Provided internal, high-throughput arraying capability as sole designer of automated DNA micro-arrayer used to manipulate and catalog oligonucleotides, synthetic strands of human DNA for therapeutics research.Member of two-person team that created in-house oligonucleotide manufacturing capability with synthesis machines, resulting in substantially reduced raw material costs.
