I’ve been a practitioner and leader in design since 2004 and have had the privilege of working in gaming, fitness, tech, and other industries. My past experience spans multiple disciplines including user experience, UI design, design systems, graphic design, brand identity, and overall design direction.In recent years, I managed a small multidisciplinary team focused on providing new and iterative UX patterns and features for GameSpot, Giant Bomb, and Comic Vine. I also created and improved features within the platform they are all powered by, including the creation of a design system to help further unify UI/UX patterns and front-end code.In the past I had the privilege of working at corporations, startups, small agencies, and directly with freelance projects. Some of my past partners and clients include Fitmob (acquired by ClassPass), The Carolina Hurricanes, Feminist Frequency, The International Justice Mission, The United Nations, and more.
