Projects I spearheaded, including initial development:- iOS and Android mobile app (React Native) allowing users the ability to remotely connect to their remote devices while on the go.- Windows/macOS/Linux desktop app (React, Electron) allowing users the ability to easily make remote peer-to-peer connections easily on Windows, Mac and Linux, for the first time.- Command Line Interface (Golang) which was our first truly cross-platform interface for managing remote devices (https://github.com/remoteit/cli)- New Web Portal development including moving to React from a messy 75K+ LOC legacy codebase, setting up testing, CI, quality enforcement (ESLint, other tools), and UI documentation with Storybook. Other activities I’ve undertaken include:- Designed a new device registration process that simplified device onboarding while combining and expanding upon the existing features of our three different existing registration approaches- Defined and implemented a common tech stack and tooling for our engineering team for front end and backend (Typescript, React, ESLint, Storybook, Prettier, Jest, etc)- Managed 15 interns working on a variety of internal projects. - Designed and implemented a support tool for reporting issues that reduces average support back-and-forth by over half. - Instituted CI tooling, automated testing, UI documentation and quality enforcement processes.
