With over 20 years of work experience in global service and community development, I am the President & CEO of National Peace Corps Association (NPCA), the leading nonprofit organization that supports and advocates for the Peace Corps community. I joined NPCA in 2020 as a Program Director and Business Development, where I led the design and implementation of innovative programs and partnerships that enhanced the capacity and impact of our members and affiliates. I also served as the Interim President & CEO for six months, where I guided the organization through a critical transition period. As the President & CEO, I am responsible for the strategic vision, direction, and growth of NPCA, as well as the management of its staff, budget, and operations. I work closely with the Board of Directors, the Advisory Council, and the network of over 240,000 returned Peace Corps volunteers and staff, to advance our mission of fostering peace, friendship, and understanding across cultures and borders. I am passionate about empowering our community to continue their lifelong commitment to service and social change, and to leverage their unique skills, experiences, and perspectives to address the most pressing challenges of our time. I have a strong background in leading Peace Corps programs and operations overseas, intercultural leadership, facilitation, community development, program management, and business development, and I am fluent in Spanish. I am a graduate of Davidson College, and I am a two-time recipient of the Director's Distinguished Service Award from the Peace Corps.
