I love helping to build brands through communications, creativity, company culture and ethos, meeting people with expertise, energy and empathy and building relationships. I've over three decades (50,000 hrs) of communications experience working with globally recognised brands and organisations and innovative and ambitious SMEs.I'm an optimist and remain convinced that there is always a way to get it done and that the result can be significant. I enjoy the energy and demands of the communications industry and have worked in this industry sector for almost three decades. As an apprentice, I was immediately immersed in brands such as Coca-Cola, AstraZeneca, Glaxo Smith-Kline and Nestlé. I've been fascinated and captivated by it all ever since.I've grown my creative agency from scratch, building close to £2M in turnover business with a team of 21 people. The agency developed from a graphic design and artwork house to a fully integrated online and offline agency focussing on Luxury Hospitality, FMCG and industry-specific B2B.Through my agency, I've worked directly on creative and brand solutions for AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Triumph International, Gossard, Myla, Ultimo, Lindt & Sprüngli, Godiva, Kallo Foods, Whole Earth, PepsiCo, Rice Dream, Monster Munch, Mr Wheeler Wine, From Vineyards Direct, Elemis, Clarins, Milsom Hotels & Restaurants, Pride of Britain Hotels, Calcot Collection, Historic Sussex Hotels, Greene King, Aston University, Enterprise Research Centre, MSDUK, OnePlastics and PeerlessAssigns.The energy and attitude of people are important to me. Most people on LinkedIn are fortunate enough to follow professional career paths and do things they love or at least enjoy. Given this, there should always be a focused, energetic, and optimistic approach to our work and each other. Life is far too short, and as far as possible, we should aim to enjoy all the challenges whilst injecting a positive culture and attitude when we can. It's okay to be demanding, and it's okay to set high standards - but all of this should be measured with care and consideration for everyone and all things around us.
