Worked as a Sr. Programmer with emphasis on Manufacturing and Inventory Control systems. * Ported applications from a Honeywell system to an IBM 390 mainframe using CICS and DB2.* Maintained and enhanced existing manufacturing and inventory control applications on the IBM 390 mainframe.

During the ten years I worked at Amphenol I held various positions. I worked as a machinist for the first year. After the first year, I worked in the Materials Planning department working my way from a Clerk to Planner. During that time, I began to work on my BS at Binghamton University Watson School of Engineering. Eventually, I was moved to Amphenol's IS department and worked on IBM 390 application programs to support manufacturing, finance and engineering. I attended Cullinet training to become and IDMS database administrator.
