Led a group of Product Managers and Software Developers responsible for defining and driving the strategic path for custom development and creation of innovative products and enhancements. The business unit’s primary development initiative was a new physician electronic medical record designed to replace the Marshfield Clinic’s legacy system. Developed a deployment methodology creating an agile release strategy that provided incremental value to the customer twice monthly instead of large quarterly releases. Customer experience and satisfaction improved. Release strategy resolved blocks to product releases. Provided best practice framework, education and experiential activities to enhance the practice of product management. This enhanced the team’s performance by focusing on understanding customer needs and identifying market problems. Both improved the quality of software produced and reduced rework / waste.

Position includes 10 direct reports and is responsible for clinical quality, financial oversight, patient satisfaction and operational performance. The departments comprise $5.4 million in total expenses with 60 FTEs reporting through direct reports.

Position had 5 direct reports and 55.5 FTEs in the department.
