I live in Porto, Portugal, where I was born and lived throughout my entire youth.I earned my BSc degree in Medical Computing and Instrumentation Engineering, in Porto School of Engineering of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto. I earned my MSc degree in the same area of studies.In the scope of a curricular internship, I've worked in Philips Healthcare for 3 months in field service engineering tasks.I was then a research fellow in the Information Systems and Computer Graphics Center in INESC TEC for two and a half years.I'm currently a deployment and service engineer in Sectra. My role's tasks focus on the Sectra PACS software and involve customer support, deployment and data migration projects. I've had the oportunity to work with customers from Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Belgium, The United Kingdom, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, The United States, Canada, Curaçao, Suriname, Saudi Arabia and Australia. I'm extremely interested in the healthcare industry and in using my computer skills towards creating a positive impact on that field.
