Led and executed on policy research and analysis on downtown parks policy, working with Parks Information Analysts, policy officers, and GIS specialists. Influenced how asset and geospatial data should be maintained, to scale Divisional park mapping efforts and facilitate cross-divisional information sharing on the parks system and assets.Designed and executed the first large-scale Park Asset Inventory and Use Survey by coordinating a team to collect geodata using the Fulcrum mobile mapping solution, a methodology which inspired broader technology adoption across the Department. Introduced and advocated for new planning methodologies and metrics aimed at transforming the culture of parks planning from a reactive to a proactive posture, through planning workshops and inter-divisional training sessions. Co-chaired the Enterprise Geospatial Partnership, a group of geospatial practitioners across the City of Toronto, and as a core member of the Innovation Lab, a staff-led volunteer initiative to create unique learning opportunities for staff. -
