My expertise spans multiple industries and business functions including risk management, internal audit, and business process transformation.I help organizations build trust with third parties, financial markets, and internal stakeholders by leading SOX 404 compliance, internal audit efforts, performing risk assessments, assessing business/IT processes, and developing, testing & improving controls. Additionally, I help create, manage and test customized compliance programs, vendor risk management procedures, IT governance and control environments.My 20+ year career at PwC took me around the world on two international rotations in London and Tokyo, five offices, and now back where I started in Southern California. Along the journey, people have described me as a versatile executive, leading projects focused on continuous improvement with an ability to attract, train and retain a team of diverse professionals.As an experienced enterprise risk director, I examine business models and processes across start-ups, private businesses and SEC registered public companies. Having worked with numerous pre-IPO/SPAC companies allows me to understand their unique challenges as they grow and begin to navigate SEC and PCAOB regulations.My value within an organization is in facilitating an environment that enables businesses to thrive in a controlled manner.
