From carrying out fault finding on an Automatic Smoke Ventilation System on one day to managing an account customer’s return logistics the next, being a Technician for VELUX is the most diverse role I have ever had. Whether I’m dealing with an end user with a guarantee issue, an Architect with a product query or a Dealer that needs a return logistic solution, the standard of service is always the same; providing our customers with an outstanding customer experience and managing their expectations.I cover large area of the South coast, working side by side with an Area Account Manager and as part of the Sales team. Some of my key duties include; supporting our guarantee offer across a vast range of light and ventilation products, providing onsite installation training for installers and workshop based training for local Colleges, meeting with Architects and Specifiers to discuss product specification, working closely with our Dealers to support their return logistic and stock management requirements and supporting Site Managers on large projects to ensure the smooth hand over of our products to their clients.Working with such a large and diverse audience necessitates the need for me to be proficient in large range of software packages, including; SAP, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, SAP Netweaver and CRM system.

I worked as part of the service team providing after sales support to a range of Window, Door, Roofline and Conservatory UPVC products. Working face to face with end users, usually in their homes, meant excellent people skills were essential.
