Build complex remote controlled combat robots. Participated in the 3rd season of the game show on Comedy Central called, "BattleBots" ~ with a spinner BattleBot named "F5". Out of 6 matches, won 5. Earned 7th placed among 130 bots in the middleweight division. Was defeated by a veteran bot that went on to win the division. Was on TV one time, beating the veteran bot: "AnkleBiter". Competed in the 4th season with a IC spinner named, "Rest in Pieces", lost the first round in the preliminaries. Competed at the Lazy Toad event (Pittsburgh) with a lightweight bot named, "Porcupine". Placed 2nd place among 12+ bots.

Outsource plastic injection molds to local and Canadian tool rooms. Visit and inspect tool rooms to evaluate their capabilities. Write corporate tooling standards for molds and for quotation. Proactive visits to tool rooms during the tool builds to foresee problems with tooling quality, budgetary and/or on-time delivery. Execute checklists for incoming tooling inspections. Attend “first shots” tryouts of mold tooling. Troubleshoot mold problems, interface with vendors/toolmakers. Develop preventative maintenance schedules. Help customers with design-for-manufacturability, part design, gate, shrink and warpage issues. Visit customer’s facilities to examine product functionality and make recommendations and engineering changes of parts and tooling.
