Dan Bowditch has forty-five years of experience in utility engineering, operations and senior management including twenty years of information technology senior and executive management. Dan has excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills with a reputation for high integrity and solid team leadership. He has earned the respect of utility executives through direct working relationships and through his volunteer work in the international Geospatial Information and Technology Association which honoured him with the GITA Distinguished Service Award in 2010. For many years, Dan has chaired the volunteer board of the Rogue Folk Club, a vibrant local community arts organization. More recently, Dan has turned his attention to volunteer work as a partner with Social Venture Partners Vancouver, a venture philanthropy organization investing money, time and expertise in capacity building for non-profits helping vulnerable youth. He has been recognized with the 2015 UBC Engineering Community Leadership Award and a UBC Faculty of Applied Science Dean's Medal of Distinction in 2016. Dan lives in North Vancouver, Canada with his wife Ursula.
