Dan Purdy is a Sales Engineer at ATS Rocky Mtn at Engines and Energy Conversion Laboratory at CSU. He possess expertise in excel, mathcad, autocad, pro/engineer, word and 23 more skills. I found him to be a hard working engineer with excellent problem solving skills. Dan started as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for one of the sponsored projects. He was assigned different goals, some of them completely new for him. I saw Dan consistently studying to solve them, while keeping his mind open for new "out of the box" solutions. Dan has been the Project Manager (PM) for our Undergraduate Research Project since August 2012. Dan has been in charge of coordinating a team of 6 Senior Mechanical Engineering Students. Dan has been responsible for structuring weekly progress reports to our customers. I have been very impressed with Dan as a PM since he has very good communication skills with colleagues, the principal investigator and our sponsor. Dan has also been doing a great job into defining the project priorities, points of action and tracking the schedule of the project. Though Dan is assigned to this specific project, he has been part as well of the general duties of a lab research. Dan has helped troubleshot laboratory equipment and he has participated several times in the acquisition and installation of new systems for our laboratory. Dan is great person to work with, he is always motivated and also maintaining a positive attitude in the project. I highly recommend Dan for employment.
