As an Account Coordinator with Fishman Public Relations, my job focuses mainly on media relations -- generating publicity -- for my numerous assigned clients. As an Account Coordinator, I report directly to my team leader, and work with other Account Coordinators and Account Managers on my team. Ultimately, my role is to generate publicity results on local, regional, and national levels. I must be able to maintain organizational skills as well as carry the ability to multi-task while working for 9 separate clients helping them reach each of their unique organizational goals.

I am a Graduate Assistant in the Marketing and Media Relations Department on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. I am currently working with an internal communications implementation process. I am writing direct letters to departments and organizations on campus in hopes to keep communication lines open between all members of campus.

As a GIA, I am expected to grade my student's assignments and return them in a timely manner, as well as work with them to develop and maintain interpersonal communication skills.
