First and foremost, I am a practicing general dentist with a focus on airway and facial development. I really enjoy the interconnectivity and complexity of challenging patients with airway disorders and enjoy collaborative treatments aimed at improving quality of life. My scope of practice primarily involves breathing, myofunctional disorders, orthodontic and orthopedic interventions, and all aspects of integrative dentistry. This includes assessment of toxins, infections, the impact of autoimmunity and excessive inflammatory conditions.I believe each patient is unique and I have developed intake, analysis, and treatment protocols to aid in treating the chief complaints my patients express. These protocols attempt to get to the root cause of issues and provide education on how patients can help themselves.During my career, I realized most dentist lack the financial, HR and business skills to successfully work in and manage a dental practice. For those that can, often the stress and time commitments are enormous. I therefore joined Ascend Dental Alliance, with the goal of providing professional management and consulting to dentists looking grow their practice and/or reduce stress without the necessity of giving up practice equity.Finally, I am a member of Coyote Capital Investments. Our simple goal is to bring trusted income-producing real estate projects to individuals without the need for constant management and attention.These 3 different jobs are all related. I believe stress is a large part of disease. Dentists and physicians routinely undergo 50 hour work weeks and take on significant work stress. Providing management to take some of that off the doctor and tax-advantaged income strategies allows doctors to still do the job they love but without all the stress.
