With advice and the support of one of the lab's research scientists, I designed and developed software that includes a UWP platform that includes live data acquisition, display, plotting, and analysis of real-time IMU sensor data, as well as post-experimental analysis code in MATLAB. This project began clinical testing in Spring 2018, and has been handed off to another developer following my graduation.

Ar Developer -- Rice Senior Design
My senior design team was tasked with creating a gait aid for Parkinson's patients, specifically to overcome "freezing of gait." I was the primary designer and developer for our solution, an iOS application that places objects in augmented reality to help initiate walking for Parkinson's patients. It also includes auditory and vibration metronome-like cues that also have been shown to help in walking. This project was featured in Rice News and was awarded 2nd place in the 2018 Johns Hopkins University Healthcare Design Competition -- Health App/Information Technology Division.
