• As the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) of Officer Management for the Assistant Chief of Staff, G1 (Personnel Director), I supervised and trained four soldiers. I reviewed their work for accuracy, completeness, style, grammar, spelling, and compliance with regulations and procedures.• Analyzed jobs to delimit position responsibilities. Distributed and prioritized workload. Counseled and prepared employee efficiency reports. Evaluated office production and prepared activities reports for guidance of management. Resolved unique problems for which there were no established procedures. Analyzed and revised procedures for routine operations.• Performed personnel accountability, administration, and readiness management using Army Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) following a myriad of personnel policies/regulations. Queried and researched information.• Read, interpreted, and reconciled HRIS generated reports to ensure the accuracy of data and compliance with various processes/policies/regulations.• As designated Records Manager, maintained officer and enlisted personnel records, organized hard-copy and electronic data in accordance with standards and regulations. Maintained a library of several thousand manuals, standards, and regulations.• Handled sensitive information by applying knowledge of policies/regulations, the Freedom of Information Act, and Privacy Act.• Served as custodian of classified documents; signed receipts for, logs, inventories, files, and secured classified documents; prepared documents for destruction or other disposition; ensured proper accountability of documents based upon degree of classification.• Received appointment as Information Systems Security Officer for the I Corps Personnel Director. Served as representative on the Fort Lewis Information Services Board.• Completed project to convert data from HRIS for use on Microsoft Windows computers.
