I am passionate about movement of the body, heart, and mind. When I coach dancers to move in ways they didn’t think possible, or create choreographies that touch the heart, and help students think in ways that give them the confidence and courage to step to the next level—for me, there is nothing more rewarding.This passion has led me to some pretty interesting places. It has literally taken me around the world as a performer, choreographer, and dance instructor. Its constant force drives me to grow as an artist and instructor. And I take great pleasure in continuously learning and sharing all that I can about dance, the mechanics of the body and its nutritional needs for peak performance, as well as the mental processes that motivate and inspire creativity. I am grateful for a passion that has sustained me through the inevitable ups and downs of a dancer’s life and provided a priceless education in maintaining a healthy psychology and mindset that finds opportunity and growth in both success and failure. I teach all levels of social and competitive partner dancing and have expertise in lifts and tricks. I offer private and group lessons for individuals, wedding couples, and organizations. Additionally, I create choreographies for individuals, couples and groups, for both amateurs and professionals. As well, I train and partner with students in Pro/Am.

As a ballroom instructor for the organization portrayed in the documentary Mad Hot Ballroom I taught youngsters in public school grades 4th to 8th, introducing them to the joys of partner dancing. One of the many highpoints for me at Dancing Classrooms was leading PS89 in the Bronx to a first-place win in the Colors of the Rainbow Competition in 2007.
