As the Technology and Digital Media Specialist, I am responsible for district branding, school, branding style guides, video and graphics, production, designing building and maintaining the district website.

As a data and technology specialist I help manage and maintain district databases and train and support database users. I assist with managing our student information system Tyler SIS, Google Applications for the educational domain and provide end user support.Configured SysCloud, our Google domain backup service and student safety violations. Worked with the Student Services team to create a process for handling the student safety violations. Support the integration of data systems such as Tyler, NWEA, Clever, Zoom and Zendesk.I help to determine the school district’s data and training needs as well as develop scripts, layouts, and reports.Maintain equipment and software inventory databases and assist with the processing, installation, configuration and use of hardware, computer peripherals.Maintain data security and utilize confidential and personal information.

➢ Technology support for the full district including 11 schools➢ Use remote desktop to install updates, patches, software, etc on computers at the schools.➢ Troubleshoot problems users might have with computers, software, iPad’s, SMART boards, printers, document cameras, projectors, copiers, and network connectivity.➢ Maintain and oversee all of the schools SMART boards by updating firmware, software, replace cameras, and clean out projectors.➢ Setup audiovisual equipment for presenters and events at the schools and off site locations.➢ Manage and oversee district iPads by working with school media specialists on how to setup multiple configurations for different grade levels using multiple Apple ids, iCloud and the volume purchase program to buy apps.➢ Created a digital portfolio template for students using Google sites. Students are able to measure their own growth from K-8 and transfer their portfolio to high school.➢ Coded monthly Virtual Bulletin Board updates for the District 62 website using Adobe Dreamweaver.➢ Manage and oversee the Google Apps for education domain. Which includes creating/managing all staff and student Google accounts, setting up security settings and testing out new Google apps for staff. Setting up Chromebook's and different groups for state testing.➢ I film, edit, and create motion graphics for district events and student/teacher projects. Help administrators and staff create multimedia content.
