Technical Project Management in the Legal Environment. Managed a variety of projects from full network installs with customized legal apps (PC DOCS - do people still use this? or is the whole world on iManage/Interwoven now?), Learned to manage development projects at TechLaw (thanks Mr. Kiefer) and took those skills on to CRN/Perfect access where I truly enjoyed managing development and mentoring others on the process. Managed some very interesting security projects at SRA international. Managed the customization of a few Case Management Applications...back in the day when these were really not getting off the ground too well. I suspect they are being utilized much more effectively today. I hope!Specialties: I bake a mean chocolate cake and my BBQ skills are improving every day! I think next summer we should have a TechLaw BBQ cookoff in my back yard :)

Requires an extremely high level of control in terms of maintaining a professional demeanor in the midst of never-ending exposure to distasteful chores, attitudes and language. High energy level is required to maintain the pace necessary in keeping all the materials in their designated places since resources are scarce in this area. I'll admit that the newer members of the team can emit odors that a professional would not think was possible. Adaptation to new duties on a daily basis is absolutely critical. Complete indifference to messes, odors and the amount of cleaning and cooking required is a must. I will admit defeat in one area. We are once again a Pet Free home. The need for additional food thieves and poopers was simply not necessary nor welcome. Otherwise the growth of the new team members continues successfully as I begin dreamily perusing college catalogs looking toward the day we become "Empty Nesters."

It started as Automation Partners in San Francisco and we merged with Stratcon out of DC. Eventually we were bought by another DC company and changed names to TechLaw. At that point I relocated to Chicago and it's all a blur after that. Worked hard, played hard met amazing people both at TechLaw and at Law firms all over the country. When I think of my career, and having worked, I really think of TechLaw and all you amazing folks! You know who you are! -
