Account Executive for large independent agency.

Responsible for driving growth and attainment of assigned sales and performance goals for four Northern California AAA offices. This includes increasing market share, profitability, product penetration and retention of accounts. Supervisory duties include coaching and development of sales staff, training to develop skills and expertise, marketing and building client bases. Communication of company strategic focus and adherence to company standard operating procedures. This includes implementation of all incentive and compensation programs. Accountable for all aspects of performance evaluations, quality assurance and regulatory compliance and developing individual sales and marketing plans for each employee. Duties also include all aspects of employee hiring, development and training. Addressing all customer complaints to resolution and expense management.

Site Supervisor for Redding AAA District Office. Responsible for coordination of daily service operations including administration of CSAA policies, procedures and successful delivery of products and services to members. Work in conjunction with Area Management to achieve assigned goals, including Property and Casualty, Life, Travel Agency and Auto Travel revenue along with membership growth, expense management and customer satisfaction. Supervised 22 employees, including six insurance sales representatives, two life agents and three travel agents.

Duties included development of sales staff, supervision of underwriting and accountability for yearly performance results. Accountable for nine Northern California offices and 18 licensed agents. Achieved President's Circle of Excellence, ranking second of 34 Sales Managers in the company.

Commercial agent with specialty carrier for the grocery and food service related industries. Responsible for development of new business and profitability in twenty two counties in Northern California. Products included property and casualty insurance, workers' compensation and group health plans. Duties included extensive risk management and consulting. Increased book of business from under $900,000 to $1.7 million while improving loss ratio from over 100% to 42% for P&C and Workers Compensation from over 250% to 68%. Secured fourth largest Property & Casualty account in the history of company. (35-location supermarket chain). $565,000 annual premium. Responsible for loss control, safety meetings and other risk management support for insureds. This included all aspects of property inspections and risk assessment for underwriting purposes. Secured 95 percent of eligible business in territory.
