• Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Portfolio Manager of the US Portfolio Management Group (PMG), which provides discretionary multi-asset class solutions on behalf of institutional investors. Team focuses on customized asset allocation, strategic/tactical implementation, risk management, and portfolio construction as part of an offering commonly referred to as “outsourced chief investment officer” (OCIO).• Assets under management totaled $20 bln in awarded assets.• Oversight responsibility for all client/portfolio management activities including initial investment, cashflows, rebalancing, and ongoing trading. Fixed Income Sales Trader / Portfolio Manager (Municipal Fixed Income)• Portfolio manager for $18.5 bln fee-based discretionary municipal bond platform. Responsible for setting portfolio strategy including duration, credit, sector, issuer and other portfolio parameters for separately managed accounts. Worked alongside credit analyst to monitor and mitigate credit risk. Assignments included working with legal, compliance, and technology towards building new proprietary portfolio management software.• Lead manager for municipal bond portfolio analytics within the Goldman Sachs & Co. Private Wealth Management (PWM) division. Analysis completed for both prospective and existing PWM clients. Created custom presentations highlighting characteristics and risk metrics of existing portfolios and provided recommendations for improvement. Created sample portfolios to model ideal strategies. Regularly presented analyses to PWM contacts and clients. Reviewed $5.7bln worth of assets in 2012.
