I thrive in roles that allow me to serve and work to make any person or organization their best versions. I have done this in many ways over the years, my favorite role was as a military pilot. Currently I do this by instructing military KC-135 aviators in safe flight operations, teamwork development, and effective aircraft malfunction procedures. I also do this by coaching and counseling people on their terms, striving to help them and their organizations achieve personal, professional, and business excellence through compliance and mission-driven planning. I have over 3000 hours of flight simulator instruction time. I am a former USAF officer and pilot with approximately 2800 total hours of multi-engine heavy jet time as pilot-in-command, instructor pilot, and military flight examiner. Using project management and management best practices I have accomplished USAF technology demonstration projects, USAF operational test projects managing teams composed of multiple participants from varied organizations. Using organizational excellence and quality management principles, I have coordinated and implemented executive directives for operational strategies, business decisions, and organizational vision. In addition to my aviation experience I have extensive experience in operations management, standards compliance, training, training facilitation, presentation skills, public speaking, organizational leadership, pastoral care, and advising people. I value and continually seek to practice and develop soft skills of quality assurance and organizational excellence. I strive to be a servant leader and enabler for all whom I am responsible to and for.
