About Dan Crist

Upon graduating with a BS degree in Accounting form SUNY Brockport in 1990, I pursued a career as a Certified Public Accountant. I successfully passed the CPA exam in November 1990 and worked for Perry Pink & Semmler CPA, PC through 1997. For the next 10 years, I worked as a controller in the construction industry. In 2007, I transitioned from the construction industry to the information technology industry, as the CFO for SMP. Throughout my career, I have always prided myself with discovering new and better ways to maximize process efficiencies. Tools such as Microsoft Excel and ODBC connections have enhanced my abilities to automate the production of both internal and external reports.
