The website serves two purposes; At first I used the site only to share clients' monthly reports, but when my many coding and content collaborators told me they wanted something concrete to put on their resumes, I quickly developed a site. I suppose it serves a third purpose too; in some respects it illustrates an old marketing 2.0 maxim--do as I say, not as I do. Just because I'm fortunate to thrive from word of mouth alone doesn't mean you can slack!

I co-founded this agency and then handed the reins and my stake over to my more motivated partner a short while later when my "real" job started requiring more of my time. While my dwindling part-time participation over the past couple of decades covers everything from PPC and PCI to web and software development, I now focus on Eden's SEO reporting and occasional UX bits.

I served on the college's e-biz curriculum advisory board for more than a decade. As an instructor with the School of Music I was the first in my department to use video conferencing to regularly connect students with experts in the field. While my superiors were impressed, students, not as much. In retrospect, the one day a week, three hour class, might’ve gotten a little old for them, but I put a lot of thought and effort into it. Find something wrong or outdated in the text? Talk about it and get extra credit! Want to demonstrate everything you’ve learned by putting on a big benefit show for your final? Perfect. My heart goes out to educators. But for me, the equation made little sense. After one semester I realized that teaching first-year college students about the biz wasn’t for me.

In 1995 I knew two groups of people talking about starting an ISP. I introduced them to each other and then climbed on board a few months later - after they'd done most of the heavy lifting ;) I cut my teeth doing tech support and marketing grunt work for a short spell and then quickly transitioned from customer service manager, to 'Special Projects Coordinator', to VP-Expansion, and a stint of a few years on the board of directors.
