Many of my clients have built businesses in construction, manufacturing, and maintenance. I enjoy the unique challenges associated with transitions in these and similar lines of work. In addition to my work at Purpose Equity, I continue to work as an attorney and partner at my law firm, D’Alberto, Graham & Grimsley. Along with my partners, Michael Graham and Ben Grimsley, I empower small- to medium-sized businesses to succeed. My area of focus centers around corporate business transactions—from mergers and acquisitions to internal leadership transitions and succession planning. Our firm also offers commercial real estate and creditor rights legal support among other services. Had we uncovered that purpose earlier, we might have determined that selling the business was not actually the best course of action to meet his objective. When we’re able to zoom out from a client’s initial ask and get a fuller picture, often a better path forward—one filled with purpose—emerges.
