He has secured land use approvals in planning commissions throughout Michigan and the United States: from New York City to Los Angeles, California. He has litigated religious land use and zoning matters in nearly 20 states including a landmark religious land use and zoning case against the City of San Diego, California on behalf of a private religious school seeking to expand its campus. And he has successfully assisted nearly 1,000 local churches seeking to depart mainline denominations and retain their properties.
