 Clinical diagnostic lab training in NGS gene panels, Sanger sequencing, aCGH and interpretation of genetic variants  10+ years research training and solid knowledge in cell/molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry and bioinformatics Proficient in Next-Gen sequencing library preparation (illumina platforms), genome-wide CRISPR and CRISPRi screening and microarray sample preparation Highly experienced with NGS data analysis and differential gene expression analysis. Experienced in working with UCSC, ENSEMBL, ENCODE and TCGA databases; Gene ontology (GO) analysis and data visualization using UCSC Genome Brower, IGV, etc.  Practical experience with genomics analysis tools like HISAT2 and samtools Practical experience in mouse models (maintaining, Tissue dissection, mouse pancreatic islet isolation, xenograft model) Demonstrated expertise in mammalian cell culture, cell line development (stable knock-downs and knock-ins), transfection, cell-based assays (viability, proliferation, apoptosis, etc.), FACS, ELISA, fluorescence/confocal microscopy Solid experience in protein expression , Western blotting, gene expression profiling, immunoprecipitation, luciferase reporter assay Proficient in molecular cloning, siRNA/shRNA knockdown, gene knock-in/knock-out, DNA/RNA manipulation, Northern blot, qRT-PCR Excellent managing, multitasking, troubleshooting, communication and presentation skills, with proven ability to thrive both independently and in a collaborative research environment
