In my position as Director of Compliance and Quality, I had primary responsibility for mitigating the severe and growing threat that counterfeit products and hardware security vulnerabilities pose to Honeywell Aerospace's highly diversified business operations. Led a cross-functional team to create and maintain an internal counterfeit prevention detection and prevention process for the Aerospace strategic business group in an evolving area of concern. Led the Honeywell Global Technical Review Board to resolve counterfeit part related operational problems that impact the ability to meet customer-requirements, regulatory requirements, product on-time delivery, and quality requirements. Worked collaboratively with customer business teams, contract managers, and with peers from other Aerospace companies and Government Agencies to address regulatory and contractual requirements. Participated in the overall Counterfeit Parts Prevention Management team objectives associated with regulatory and contractual compliance, supply chain risk mitigation, and continuous process improvement. Proactively monitored regulatory requirements and collaborated with Honeywell legal department, Government Relations, and industry consortium on regulatory rulings. Provided regulatory guidance to Honeywell Aerospace. Supported customer inquiries and contract review activities, and interfaced with customers to articulate the Aerospace counterfeit prevention approach. Created audit checklists and training to comply with Aerospace procedures. Audited Honeywell sites and suppliers for compliance to required processes and procedures.
