As a Visual Media and Broadcast Journalism Instructor at Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District, I teach students how to use digital communication and engineering principles with Adobe Creative Cloud and Google educational tools. I also manage and execute bi-weekly school news and broadcasts, and collaborate with faculty on integrating media and technology into the curriculum. With over 15 years of experience in the education sector, I am passionate about creating engaging and interactive learning environments that enhance student development and achievement.In addition to my teaching role, I am also a business owner of a digital design and media company that provides web and graphic design, video production, and media consulting for small businesses and individuals. I have developed web content and multimedia for clients such as Nike, AT&T, JVM Solutions, and Blue Chip Nation Basketball, and designed compelling marketing assets and infographics for multiple NEISD schools and departments. I am a Google Certified Teacher and a certified instructor for NASP Archery and CPR. I hold a Master's degree in Educational/Instructional Media Design and Technology from Full Sail University, and a Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science and Mass Communications from Texas State University.
