•I supervise 2 other employees and work with computer technicians to support the metro government’s 2900+ accounts and 2500+ workstations including support for enterprise Active Directory accounts; DNS and DHCP services; anti-virus; network connectivity; Internet access & email accounts.•Support for over 250 servers including 80+ stand alone & 160+ virtual servers (VMWare) & several AIX & Linux servers; including patching & anti-virus.•Manage enterprise email system for 2900+ employees. This includes managing multiple Exchange2003 servers for all metro government employees including Police, Fire and Detention personnel. I oversee both the back end servers as well as front end servers to support webmail and smart phone integration. I also manage a pair of spam filters.•Manage network infrastructure including routers and switches that service 50+ locations around the city. The larger sites are connected by fiber, while the smaller remote locations have site to site VPN links via DSL or Cable modem. This infrastructure uses multiple VLANS supported by gigabit and 10 gigabit backbone segments. Some segments have redundancy via OSPF or aggregated links.•Manage and program enterprise firewalls and firewalls for remote locations.•Maintain 3 storage area networks made up of 385 drives in 64 arrays for a total of over 136 Tb of usable data storage.•Manage the network switches and fiber switch on 5 blade centers. This includes configuring multiple VLANs over aggregated uplinks for each blade center. I have also configured the fiber channel adapters for each of the blades.•Developed and maintain Visio documentation for the entire network. This includes drill down diagrams for the entire network and documentation for all major routers, switches and embedded photographs of network closets. I also maintain documentation for router and firewall configurations, blade center switches, VLANs and other aspects of the network.

Helped design and install and maintain the campus network at the college. Implemented E-mail, firewalls, anti-virus, anti-spam, backups for Netware, and Windows servers.
