Currently on the Data Science Engineering team, I work closely with Data Scientists to create performant Scala code from prototype PySpark models and aggregation sets from the data pipelines we use to train such models. In addition to this work, I created a pipeline in AWS using Apache Flink to stream records from an on-premise datacenter into S3 buckets, train a SageMaker model on the data, and use Terraform to provision and manage the resources.

As a Senior SDET, I expanded my testing role into taking charge of the DV+ (Display, Video, and other formats) End to End testing environment, creating test plans and overseeing project testing. I also developed the Ad Engine feature that implemented a Data Science project to provide guidance to demand side platforms bidding on ad requests, including all of the needed host configuration using Puppet.

I have continued my role working on the Ad Engine, the only thing having changed is the merger of Rubicon Project and Telaria to form Magnite.

Working on the Quality Assurance team I was embedded in the Ad Engine team, which is the component of the Rubicon Project platform (later known as Magnite DV+) that receives ad requests from publishers and conducts real-time auctions of valid bid responses. My role was to write automated tests in Python using Pytest for new features and expand coverage of the existing codebase.

I most recently worked on the Customer Management and Monitoring Service (CMMS) team for the Oracle Service Cloud (OSvC) product. On the CMMS team, I helped develop a distributed system to gather usage data regarding customer OSvC sites which is then used by product and program managers as well as fellow engineers to help plan the future of the platform. In this role, I developed in Python with a Flask front-end, and we used RabbitMQ to send messages to coordinate data gathering in geographically disparate regions.

I have continued my role in Upgrade Engineering for Oracle Cloud Service. My job title was changed to reflect an increased focus on development and code migrations, primarily utilizing PHP and C# within a .NET framework.In particular, I assist our customers in converting their external integrations from a deprecated, XML-based framework to more robust web service based on Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP). This enables Oracle to reduce technical debt and cut back significantly on recurring code maintenance costs.In the past year, I have taken on the role of supporting Upgrade Engineering and Upgrade Development by ensuring their access to our test environment and helping automate critical processes. I have also undertaken data analysis projects using Python, Pandas, and Jupyter Notebook to present findings.

I continued working in Upgrades Engineering after Oracle's acquisition of RightNow Technologies, and I have expanded my role into Applications Engineering as well. In addition to providing Quality Assurance for upgrade projects, I also migrate code onto managed frameworks to support a divisional goal of push-button upgrades.These migrations are concentrated on removing database queries using mySQL that are subject to version to version changes in the database schema. Replacing these with an object-oriented framework (Connect for PHP) ensures that a customer's site will upgrade in the future without manual intervention.

Responsible for testing customer sites to ensure that like-for-like functionality is maintained during upgrade to current release of RightNow CX software.

Responsible for testing the Business Rules, Cloud Monitor, Service Level Agreements and Offer Advisor functionality of the RightNow CX solution, and other components as needed.

Supervised and directed security measures necessary for implementing applicable requirements of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and related Federal requirements for classified information; maintaining information system security integrity as described in Chapter 8 guidelines of the NISPOM.

Performed analysis and algorithm development using MATLAB to support existing and under-development weapons systems for Navy and Air Force customers. Prepared reports and documentation to be delivered both internally and to external customers. Proposal lead for successful $100,000 Air Force Phase I SBIR "Binaural Capture and Synthesis of Ambient Soundscapes", submitted Phase II proposal; Primary author of test plans and test reports for Network Services division; responsible for communicating test data to superiors/customers in an effective manner; Next-generation sensor design work for Undersea Warfare (USW) division; conducted investigations analyzing the ability of multiple sensors to successfully determine location of single, isolated sonar ping.
