Dan Dubowitz established Civic Works in 2003 to focus on two practices in parallel: Urban Design and Artworks. The practice has developed cultural masterplans for city-scale developments across the UK, public artworks and a trilogy of fine-art photographic series.Urban Design:Civic Works develop, design and deliver the cultural transformation of places, bringing this critical dimension to major urban developments.  Between 2003-2015, Civic Works has led on the Cultural Masterplan for the following key developments: Sunniside, Sunderland Scotswood Housing Expo, Newcastle Ancoats, Manchester  Stoke On Trent  Nine Elms, London Oldham Historic Town Centre and Oldham CollegeArtworks:The focus is on long-term photographic and  public artworks for post industrial cities world wide.
