After having spent most of my life not entirely sure what I wanted to do, I was given a remarkable opportunity at the end of high school that sparked my passion for marketing, and instantly I found that this field was one in which I could not only find success but satisfaction. Looking back on it, I had always been drawn to the business world. Marketing, regarded as the most creative facet of business, would be where I would excel. I love not only the creativity of it, but all components of research, analysis, and figuring out solutions to branding problems. Regarding my life outside of business and marketing, in high school I ran varsity track and cross country and led a number of student-run clubs. The laborious simplicity of running is something I had always loved, especially as a counterbalance to all the complex and convoluted responsibilities I had, being active in my school community and my church, doing community service, etc. As for the various clubs, I have always considered myself an outgoing and big-picture kind of person which has naturally led me to leadership roles. I ended up president of the philosophical society, the excursion club, and the debate team.As for my future aspirations, I am currently in the process of starting up a business venture in college. Beyond that, and depending on my success, I am likely looking at an end goal of reaching a high level marketing position in a prestigious company.
