Stationed in Kitzingen, Germany for two and a half years, I was fortunate enough to be chosen as the driver for the Company Commander. Because of this position, I saw more of Germany's countryside than most of my fellow soldiers.I traveled to over 20 countries and most major European cities and was awarded two Army Achievement Medals. The first was for a high score in a Stinger gunnery competition. The second was awarded at the end of my tour by the Company Commander for overall “outstanding service” throughout my tour.
