Developed the Great Lakes Regional supply and materials management team from 3 separate operational teams (Detroit, Cincinnati, and Chicago) into one regional team managing all lab supplies, client supplies, warehousing, and inventory levels. Added supply responsibility for one hospital lab in the Chicago area. Improved cash flow with a 20% reduction in inventory levels through multiple Lean process projects focused on improving warehouse operations, reduction in inventory, and creating a just-in-time department inventory process from supplier to lab department operations.

Developed the the Central Region Client Supply distribution operation for distribution of medical diagnostic testing supplies for the Auburn Hills MI, Cincinnati OH, Pittsburgh PA, Wood Dale IL, and Valencia CA business units and their clientele. Clientele also included international distribution. Redesigned the pick and pack operation from a conveyor push to a pull work flow design, balancing workflow processes, reducing picking errors and overall operational costs. Was recruited to take on additional responsibilities as the EHS lead for the Cincinnati Business unit.

Designed and developed processes and procedures pertaining to the project management, service, and installation of the broadcast systems and equipment for T.V Broadcast stations. Coordinate and schedule crews to complete the new system installation for T.V stations around the country. Track and report job progress to clients. Liaison with vendors, stations, and crews to solve issues involved in getting the project completed in a timely fashion.

Designed, developed, and directed the daily operations of a multi-million dollar production/distribution operation consisting of six location (New York, Detroit, Rochester/NY, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Wilmington/OH). Operations coordinated the inbound movement of 100 to 500 new commercials (assets) and distributed 10,000 to 50,000 individual video and audio spots to stations across the country on a daily basis. We maintained and tracked over 150,000 individual assets(SKU's) between 6 location. Additional responsibilities included contract negotiations and operational development with clients, suppliers, 3rd party vendors, and equipment manufacturers. Served as the divisional VP of Operation during the absence of my boss.January 2000 - January 2002 Directed the Wilmington, Detroit, and the new Chicago operation. Eliminated division wide redundancies and errors through analysis of procedures resulting in the establishment of new standardized operating procedures. Executed training programs in all areas of the operation to ensure that high quality standards were maintained in service and product quality.June 1998 - January 2000 Focus - Recruited to turn around the Wilmington, OH facility and integrate the GM Advertising Agencies under the new GM contract. Managed a two-shift plant operation to include client relations, production, quality control, customer service, warehousing, inventory, billing, I.T., engineering, and distribution. Turned around the operational culture from adversarial to a team oriented atmosphere with a focus towards serving both external and internal customers. Transformed the operation from a loss to a 20% net profit in six months time while integrating the New York operation and opening a Detroit facility.

In 1989, recruited to join Detroit’s leader in the telecommunication industry providing a single source for production and duplication needs. Initial goal was to implement an operation strategy to transform the duplication department and retain a major account of $500K that was in jeopardy. Worked in conjunction with engineering to develop technical advancement and design a new million dollar duplication facility. Member of the executive management team and founding member of the continuous service improvement committee. Grew department revenues from $750K to $3.5MM. Renowned as the largest broadcast duplication and distribution operation in Detroit offering turnkey services with state-of-the-art technology.
