CurrentI oversee the Traffic department for the ACE Hardware distribution center in Moxee, WA. I have 60+ employees reporting to me (CDL-A drivers, office clerks & a Traffic Manager). I am responsible for the delivery service to all the ACE Hardware locations within Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, 1/2 of Montana & British Columbia in Canada.I am responsible for safety and adherance to DOT regulations in our trucking operation. I am tasked with establishing delivery routes and schedules to achieve consistency for our ACE retail locations. I must maintain adequate driver headcount and am responsible for the hiring and firing of our Class-A CDL drivers. I am also accountable for establishing yearly budgets and managing the financial performance of the Traffic department.
