Life Change Program Coordinator oversees the security and safety of residents, guests, and staff by coordinating schedules between the 3 Major Programs and the Compassion Ministries, Operations, and Development Departments. Acts as a liaison between the Program Director, the Program Managers, and other department directors Acts as administrator on duty in charge of programs one weekend per month Helps to train and provide oversight/accountability for all Program staff Assists the Compassion Ministries Program at 725 Park Avenue by helping programs provide student volunteers. Cooperates with Operations Department in maintaining safety and security of Program areas and Conducts Monthly Safety Assessment Meetings with Program Managers and Floor Managers to address concerns Cross trains staff to effectively work with the Abundant Life and New Life Addiction Recovery programs. Leads by example in regard to Christ-like behavior and decorum in and around the Mission Takes the lead on implementing policies, protocols, and events of the Program Director

RESPONSIBILITIES* On-campus residential House Manager oversees the security and safety of residents and guests.* Ensures students are accountable to the weekly schedule of classes, appointments, work therapy, etc.* Supervises student use of facilities: Classroom, living quarters, weight room, etc.* Trains and provides oversight/accountability for all Work Therapy assignments (Assessment Candidates, Level I & II Students and Transitional Living Residents).* Administers the Blessing Room with students and volunteers.* Administers the Pantry Program with students and volunteers.* Administers meds twice during shift.* Publishes the Weekly Student schedule (reception desk, mobile kitchens and other driving needs (including students to appointments using volunteers), kitchen duty, etc.* Works with Operations, Development, and Compassion Ministries to coordinate student participation in campus-based activities and special events such as The Great ThanksGiving Project, etc.* Conducts Roll Call.* Coordinates student participation in off-campus functions such as such as the Stuff-a-Truck Food Drive, Hearts of Hope banquet, Rooms With A View benefit. Works with Development to identify students who can testify to the work of God in their lives through the Mission.* Troubleshoots conflicts with Program students and updates Men’s Director as necessary for next steps.* Administers drug tests, room searches, etc.* Documents discipline issues with students for review by Case Manager and/or Program Director.* Become proficient in using Spero, the Mission’s software system for case management.

My first responsibility is to supervise the receptionist in regard to greeting visitors to the Corps Building, answering telephone inquiries, making social service appointments for food pantry and financial assistance, providing alternative community resources, and assisting the Commanding Officers with clerical projects. Other responsibilities include conducting emergency financial assistance appointments, maintaining financial and food pantry recipient files, preparing a weekly financial packet to be submitted to the Divisional Centralized Bookkeeper, scheduling volunteer organizations and individuals to cook and serve the daily soup kitchen lunch, supervising volunteers to clean and maintain the building, and compiling monthly statistical data to be submitted to the Community Action Program and the Salvation Army Northern New England Divisional Headquarters.

My job responsibilities as Behavior Specialist at New Alternatives, Inc. in their Special Education classrooms were to assist the teachers in modifying the students' behaviors and attitudes within the learning environment. We developed classroom coping strategies, goal oriented reward/consequence behavioral modification structures, and curriculum tutorials based on Individual Education Plans (IEP's).
