I am a very sociable engineer. Everyone usually assumes that engineers are all introverted and stay inside all day doing work. Don’t get me wrong I love working individually on things I am passionate about, but I am extroverted and enjoy meeting people and making friends. I believe that by interacting with people and understanding how a workplace functions from both a social and business level I am able to help my company more efficiently.Although I enjoy making friends and meeting people I also love math, science, design, and problem solving. Ever since I was young I have been fascinated with how things work and move. I would work with the pulleys in my grandpa’s garage to lift things twice my weight by using mechanical advantage. I would go on to apply this curiosity to high-level math and physics such as JETS engineering club and answering questions as a teaching assistant. I strive to learn and educate myself on subjects I am interested in, whether it is related to my education or a new hobby I just discovered. Taking my passions and applying them to projects is something I love. I have designed and created usable cardboard chairs and boats with CAD and ergonomic research and built my family a shed for our backyard. I have a passion for problem-solving applied to almost anything. I treat others how they want to be treated rather than how I want to be treated. If you are nice and treat me with respect, I will go out of my way to help you. I love to learn and am always open to the idea of discovering new things.
