I joined Southern California Edison initially on contract through VOLT TECHNICAL SERVICES from Jun 2007 to Mar 2009 and successfully progressed through the various engineering disciplines over the next 10 years.In my present role as Senior Business Analyst III, I manage resources and project schedules for 5 lead engineers and 27 engineers (largest & most technical Protection Engineering group). I am responsible to oversee the engineering activities, performance metrics, and RPPM processes. I coordinate with Major Projects Organization in order to manage schedules, identify and mitigate risks, and provide deliverables on time.I oversee projects involving protection engineering designs for electrical substations, including infrastructure repair programs, load growth distribution and transmission, along with customer renewable energy interconnections.In addition to this, I have been responsible for evaluating Transmission Substation Plans & Transmission Expansion Engineering Schedules in Primavera, providing consultations on multiple key projects, charting business plans, objectives, and initiatives and supporting project scope, policy development and implementations.I create & maintain project schedules and documents (baseline control, distribution, document storage/retention and access control) and perform audit on milestones (engineering and design completion dates, major material information, and engineering deliverables) and submit report for further review by senior project management and senior engineering management.
