A songwriter, composer, and producer, Dane DeViller turned his passion for the guitar into a long-standing career as a professional musician and music writer. Deviller’s talents include session and commercial work, song writing, scoring for film and television and video games. DeViller has written and produced songs for artists such as Kelly Rowland, Jessica Simpson, 98 Degrees, LFO, and Amy Grant, selling more than 45 million records worldwide. He has performed and recorded with David Foster, Celine Dion, Ray Charles, and Chicago, among others. His work has been recognized with industry sales and creative awards in North America, UK, Australia, Holland, Brazil, South Africa, Mexico and throughout Asia. DeViller has extensive experience writing for television and feature films. His film credits include Runaway Bride, Art of War 2, Blonde and Blonder, and Kill Switch. His original music graced CBC’s M.V.P. and ABC’s Defying Gravity, along with the closing ceremonies for the 2010 Winter Olympics on NBC. Most recently, he provided music for a CBC documentary on the NHL’s Winnipeg Jets hockey team and is scoring an upcoming animated TV series for Marvel.DeViller has recently composed music for the live-action web series, Mortal Kombat: Legacy and video games, Kinect Sports 2 and Joyride for the Microsoft Xbox 360, Electronic Arts’ FIFA Soccer 12 and SSX, and the former True Crime: Hong Kong, developed by United Front Games.
