My first job was payroll related, working my way into the Accounts department and overseeing Creditors and the Employee Loan Book. I moved into retail, initially performing finance related functions, moving onto to stock control and payroll. A few years later I was appointed as the National Stock Controller, with oversight over more than R75 Million worth of stock. Managing the entire function within the business from placing orders with foreign countries to having correct stock delivered to the 26 stores nationwide. From there I moved on and assisted with managing a few small family businesses from the day to day affairs to all finance related functions, as well as payroll. I was then hired as the Operations Manager at a Labour Broker/ Recruitment Agency. Over time my responsibilities varied and portfolio changed - including but not limited to Key Accounts oversight, responsible for the finance department and related functions - income and expenses, debtors, creditors, cashflow & budgets, HR related tasks - recruitment, drawing up of contracts, addendums, policies etc. I am currently the Payroll and Benefits Supervisor for an Insurance company and I will be able to build on my skill set, adding benefits to the list - such as -Provident Fund, Medical Aid, Group Life and the administration thereof.
Listed skills include Accounting, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Excel.
