I am responsible for sizing HVAC equipment, designing duct and equipment layouts, creating construction drawings and specifications, as well as preparing cost estimates and performing energy studies and reports.

Responsibilities included designing efficient, cost-effective heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning systems for various building types. This included calculating the required size of equipment, selecting the most appropriate type of system, supervising the drawings and writing the specifications.

I designed and drafted testing equipment used in the materials testing industry. I was responsible for calculating peak stresses in the machines, creating a 3D drawing of the machine, creating the CNC files to manufacture the components, purchasing fasteners and hardware, and assembly of the machines. While there I also developed the anodizing capabilities.

While working at Mercury Marine, I had the opportunity to evaluate the shifting mechanism for their outboard motors. Using data acquisition software and a programmable stepping motor, I evaluated the force required to operate the hand mechanism.
